The training ground for Love Construction Co. was the Historic District of Wilmington, North Carolina. Joe Love painstakingly restored twenty-two historic homes to their once grand and beautiful state. Pam Love provided renovation designs and marketed properties. In the early 1980's, The Loves were honored to receive the Merit Award from the North Carolina Preservation Society for their contribution to historic preservation. In 1998, the Loves moved to the quaint mountain town of Brevard and established Love Construction Co. Their business is now comprised of new home construction, remodeling projects, and renovation design.
